I will never forget the day Norman came to our house in Edmonton, just after retiring from the navy. He was in his uniform which was very impressive and looked amazingly fit. I believe he was on his way to the coast (Victoria) and looked most happy and free.
Think he was 39 and the time while I was about 15. Very impressive!
