

Peter Keith-Murray, age 90, passed away peacefully on 12 April 2026 at his home in the Legion Manor. He was born 12 July 1935, in Bath, Somerset, England, to David and Nancy Keith-Murray and emigrated to Canada in 1945
Peter was predeceased by his siblings, Marnie and Mark; his wife, Judith Keith-Murray(45 years) and cohabitation with Margaret Leatherdale(11 years).
He is survived by his devoted children: daughter Leslie Keith-Murray and son Drew Keith-Murray and his wife Janet(DIL).
Peter was a proud grandfather to Elizabeth Knowles (Bill), Andrew, Samantha Smith (Phil), James Lascelle (Brianne) and Nathan Smith. He was also a loving great-grandfather to William, Ella, Audric, and Luci.
He proudly served in the Canadian military for 36 years in the RCAF as a Fighter Cop (Scope dope)and then as an Air Weapons Controller which took him and his family all over Canada, USA and while serving with NATO in Germany. He made many close friends who he continued to stay in contact with throughout his life. He continued to parade on Remembrance Day up to his death. He was an avid golfer, who won Super Senior club champion on multiple occasions at Glen Meadows Golf and Country Club and had two holes in one, one in Mexico and his last one being just a week before his 90th birthday here at Ardmore. He volunteered for decades with the Victoria Information Centre and British Columbia Aviation Museum (BCAM) in Sidney. He was a longtime member of Probus and the Army, Navy, Air Force Unit 302 in Sidney.
A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BCAM.
