Rita immigrated to Canada from London, England in 1958 with her husband and children. Settling in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Here she lived until 1974. The family then moved to Victoria where she started working with the Federal Government until her retirement. She was then free to enjoy many years visiting and travelling with friends and family. Her love and Laughter will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Predeceased by her parents, her husband William Miller and her brother John Sugrue.
She will be lovingly remember by her son Robert Miller of Vancouver; her daughter Dawn Miller of Victoria; her niece Jill Doran of Calgary and her nephew Terry Sugrue of Toronto plus many nieces and nephews in Wales and Scotland.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 26, 2022 at 2 PM at First Memorial Funeral Service 4725 Falaise Dr. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Victoria SPCA and the Victoria Women's Transition House Society.
