Robert Edwin Potter

Potter, Robert (Bob) a.k.a Dad, Pops, Papasan, Granddad & Big Papa was born in Duncan, BC on July 19, 1941 and died in Victoria, BC on June 20, 2025. He was predeceased by his infant daughter Lisa Dawn (1966), and is survived by his loving children Lorene, David (Rose) and Leah, with their mother Arlene. He was a very proud grandfather of Emma, Michael (Kennedy), Jacob Robert (namesake, also born July 19) (Hayley), Luc, Rhys, Vivian, and Corina.

We will fondly remember Bob for his love of cruises shared with family, his enjoyment of a good hand of cards, and his vocal support of his children and grandchildren at soccer, hockey, and baseball games, plays, and recitals. He cherished family dinners, leisurely walks along Dallas Road, and rounds of golf at Metchosin Golf Course where he hit his first (and only!) hole-in-one on the 9th hole in 1989.

Bob appreciated the outstanding care he always received from the BC Medical System. The whole family is grateful to Dr. G. Hargrove for her years of excellent care along with the dialysis and ward staff of RJH. We also give a special thanks to Sandi Fink for her exceptional home support.

At Bob’s request, there will be a celebration of his life with his immediate family.
