With deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Bob on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Cherie, his Mom (Jim), sisters Roseanne (Kevin), Tina, and Dawn, brothers George (Adrianne), Dean (Susan), Marty (Laura), and Brian, sisters-in-law Marlene and Diane, nephews and nieces, and countless friends. Bob is pre-deceased by his Dad George and brother Kim. Bob was an amazing cook who will remain famous for his “Biker Bob’s Pyro Demon Salsa”. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, gardening in his Bonsai forest, playing his guitars, hanging out in his Bambi airstream trailer “man cave”, portraying Santa Claus during the annual Toy Run and attending classic car shows with Cherie in their ’56 Chevy Bel Air “Miss Pretty”. Adventures that Bob enjoyed over the past few years include an 18,000+ km road trip across Canada and Route 66, attending Hot August Nights, touring Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper, the Barrett Jackson and Russo and Steele Auto Auctions in Phoenix AZ, the Daytona 500 and deep sea fishing in Key West. Sincere gratitude is expressed for the care, comfort and dignity provided to Bob by the staff at VGH. In lieu of flowers please consider honouring Bob’s memory by donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on April 2nd, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria BC.
