OBITUARY
Roland Arthur Joseph Roy
October 23, 1935 – January 23, 2021
On January 23, 2021 in Victoria, BC, Roland Arthur Joseph Roy left this earth.
Rollie was a warm, friendly man with lots of jokes and always ready for a laugh, especially if it was his joke! He was a good friend and liked to help people. He had a good life with some bumps, which he overcame. He was born to Father Arthur Roy and Mother Marie-Anna Roy (nee Rodrique) of Quebec. His proudest career moments were representing the fighting for the rights of workers, non-union and union members, while working as an organizer, business agent and business manager for S.M.W.I.A. Local 276. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his wife Rosemary, and children, Richard, Douglas (Yvonne), Remey, and step-son Jon. Also brother Emilien and sisters Marie-Anna and Therese in Quebec.
Rest in peace Roland, after a life well lived.
