Bev, Susan, Karen and Cameron. I recall the visits to our house in Nanaimo and the oranges on the sidelines at Gorge vs Nanaimo soccer games.  Very sorry to hear that Ron has passed away, although this message is late, my sincerest condolences.

So sorry for your loss.  Jerry and I always enjoyed being around Ron and Bev.  Had a lot of fun and laughs back in the day.

My memories of Ron McClure.  What a dedicated, respectfully, fun loving person Ron was.  Dedicated as a husband, father, and mentor to so many.  Ron was always looking out for my son, Bernie and went beyond being a coach/manager/mentor  in so many ways in the years he had managed the very successful Gorge Soccer Teams.  Ron's  enthusiasum was contagious.  There is just no words to express how valuable and life changing Ron's contribution to our youth has been.  As a single parent years ago Ron McClure was and still is one of my hero's.  Beverly, I am so sorry for the loss of your best friend and beautiful husband.  I am sorry your children and grandchildren have lost their wonderful father.  Ron gave his best to everyone he ever met.  I loved his gentle kindness and will always remember how much he cared. I was so sorry to hear of your loss.  I have many memories as a little girl spending time at your house with all the neighbourhood kids.  Mr. McClure was always very nice and always had a smile.  My thoughts are with you all.

To Bev and family - I was so sorry to hear of Ron's passing.  I will always remember him for his incredibly big smile whenever he greeted you whether it be in our old office on Yates St. or if you happened to run into him somewhere.  He will be sadly missed.

Dear Bev and family.....Monty and I send kindest thoughts your way for each and every day to come.  Like others, we have such fond memories of Ron from our early days with the Gorge....he was a fine mentor for Kaj as a youth (with Dunc as Coach).....we have many happy memories of trips all over not just the island but also the mainland and elsewhere.  You were a huge part of those days too Bev and we will never forget "the McClure's".....a sad day indeed.  We were lucky to know you all......so long Ron....Sandy and Monty Fulton.......

Our sincere condolences to Bev and Family on Ron's passing. I first met Ron in 1959 and have valued the experience as a Business Machine Technician that he passed on to me as an apprentice, it stayed with me 'til retirement I'll never forget him.
