Died July 15, 2015 at the age of 82. Born in West Kirby, Cheshire, England on Jan. 1, 1933.
Predeceased by her brother, Arthur Raymond Midgley, sister, Deborah Midgley and nephew, Jason Marriott. She is survived by Celia (Glen) Marriott, her twin sister; Alfred Schaub, her best friend and partner; niece Lara Marriott; Al’s children: Carey and Kris (Jim) and grandchildren, Stephanie, Shauna (Tyler) & Mercedes; neighbors and friends. Rosalind was a high school teacher of English, Art, French & Geography for 35 years. Her enthusiasm for life, her students, her adventures, was contagious. In her presence, each person was special. She loved rescuing animals, plants & people, painting and gardening. Rosalind wishes no one to mourn. The family requests that you honor her wishes and remember her wit, generosity & the pleasure she took knowing you.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation in her memory to Animals’ Crusaders or the Salvation Army.
A celebration of life will be Held at St. Aidans Church, . 3703 St Aidans St, Victoria, BC on Friday July 31, 2015 from 1-3:00pm
