Rose Wong Guen Won

January 2, 1920 - September 12, 2016

After 96 well-lived, wonderful years, our beautiful and gracious mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on September 12, 2016. Deeply missed and lovingly remembered by son Thorne (Anna) and son-in-law Dennis Lim; grandchildren, Trevor Won (Stephanie), Kevin Won (Jayne), Darin Lim (Laurie), Ryan Lim (Joy), Shaun Lim (Anita); great-grandchildren, Kaeycen, Carson, Aeriahna, Mia, and Jackson; sister Lily Sam, brothers Jim Mar (Barbara), Jack Mar (Arleen), Jerry Mar (Linda); nephews, nieces, many relatives and dear friends. She was predeceased by Dan Won, daughter Denise Lim, sister Helen Lee, and brother John Mar. She was a beacon of love and kindness and an inspiration to all who knew her. Thanks to the staff at Wellesley Assisted Living for caring for Mom during the nine years she was a resident there. Special thanks also to the staff at Selkirk Place for the remarkable care and compassion provided for Mom during this past year. In keeping with Mom’s wishes, there will be no service.
