Rosemary Church

Born April 9, 1928 in Windsor Ontario, died peacefully in Victoria, BC, on February 26, 2021. Daughter of Blake and Lyla Heath. Beloved wife of William Church (predeceased). Sons Robert (Elaine) of Gabriola BC, Steven (Susan) of Orillia ON, James (Cheryl) of Victoria BC, and daughter Carol (Howard) of Summerland BC. Grandchildren Cody (Ingrid), Christa (Adrian), Micah (Larissa), Joshua (Alisha), Nicholas (Larysa), Jena (Kris), Madeline and Meghan. Great grandchildren, Everett, Milo, Farrah, Arlin, Beckett, and Kaia.

Married in 1947, after Bill completed his osteopathic medical degree in the USA, they moved to Orillia Ontario in 1952. Rosemary was an active member of St. Paul’s United Church, and the UCW. A devoted mother and enthusiastic family sports cheerleader, she also enjoyed her summers at the cottage on Lake Couchiching, and liked to entertain their many friends and family, or engage in a rousing game of Bridge or Euchre. They moved to Victoria in 2006 where they were active members of the Cordova Bay United Church and the 55+ Club.

She has remained very close to her loving brother Blake and family in NE USA.

Rosemary lived a full and charmed life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
