Born June 14, 1940, Sandra’s life was marked by steady courage, enduring strength, and a deep devotion to those she loved. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Sandra went to school in Regina, Saskatchewan, and her early years carried her across Canada. She lived in Corner Brook, Newfoundland; Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; and the Ottawa Valley before moving to Sidney, British Columbia in 1976. She later lived on Salt Spring Island before returning to Sidney—each move reflecting a quiet resilience and a willingness to meet life as it came, with determination and grace.
For many years, Sandra was an RCMP wife, a role that called for steadfast support and fortitude. She also served in the Victoria Police Department as a PBX operator for 14 years, bringing reliability and dedication to work that depended on calm presence and careful attention.
Sandra is remembered with love by her sister, Sharon; her son, Brian; her daughter, Lesley; and her grandson, Akito. Her strength of character and unwavering devotion shaped the lives of those closest to her, and her absence will be felt profoundly.
