It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sharron Darlene Hughes (nee Belanger). Born December 19, 1944, Sharron passed suddenly November 3rd, after a lengthy battle with cancer, with husband Terry at her side.
While an employee of the Royal Bank, Sharron lived life in New Westminster, Vancouver, Cranbrook, and Kamloops, finally retiring in Victoria. Sharron was a lifelong learner, an artist, a decorator, loved the ocean and life around antique shops in Victoria. She was always happy living an eclectic life at the getaway on Gabriola Island.
Sharron is survived by husband Terry, daughter Shawna (Don), stepson Aaron, granddaughter and love of her life Olivia, Mother Pam, Brother Curtis (Heather), Niece Joelle (Grahame), Nephew Lorne (Elicia) Great Nephew Hayden & Great Niece Alexa. Predeceased by her Father Jack and Sister Jacqui.
At Sharron’s wish, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, Sharron would appreciate your donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Life with Sharron was a grand adventure. Oh how boring life will be now.
