November 15, 1949 – November 11, 2022
After a courageous and determined battle with cancer Steve passed away November 11, 2022 in Victoria, B.C.
Steve was born in Toronto, grew up in Richmond Hill, Ontario, and attended the University of Guelph where he studied horticulture. Then moved to Victoria where he could work in his profession year round. Steve worked at UVIC as a grounds supervisor for 33 years.
He loved travelling, gardening, camping, golfing, dining out and trips to the casino.
Steve leaves behind his loving wife Pat, sister Kathy (Bill), sister-in-law Maureen (Larry), niece Ashleigh (Vito), nephews Darren (Ada), Kelly and Aaron (Tonye), great nieces Zoey and Lily, great nephews Cruze and Grayson and many cousins and good friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Malik and Dr. Ross for extending his life, BC Cancer Victoria, Tammy (Community nurse), BC Ambulance Service and staff at Royal Jubilee Hospital emergency.
Steve's celebration of life to be held in May 2023.
