Born in Gateshead upon Tyne, UK. Passed away, peacefully, at Sunrise Senior Living in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by her husband George in 1992 and daughter Violet (Vi) Lezetc in 2005. Survived by her son Gary, son-in-law Steve, grandson Stephen, granddaughter Paula (John), great grandsons Zachary and Christopher, a large extended family, and innumerable friends. Ena immigrated to Canada in 1955, returned to England for a time, and then came to Canada to stay permanently in 1961. She took great pride in working hard for her whole life (reluctantly retiring at age 78), and in maintaining a warm home in which all guests were welcomed and well-fed. Ena will be lovingly remembered as someone who asked for nothing, and always gave her best effort for others. Funeral and reception to be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1155 Fort St., Victoria, BC. Interment at Royal Oak Burial Park to follow.
