I will always remember you being in the kitchen making your home made biscuits & gravy, the times when we would drink milk with our donuts & the time when I found out that I didn't care for buttermilk.

I will always remember your love for Cajun music, BB King, Big Red soda, Barq's root beer & your love for roses.

I hope that you get your fill of hot wings & beer.

Big Grandma,

Thank you for the drops of wisdom you've shared with me since I was a little girl. I still think of you when I can't sleep, and the advice you gave me. You made an amazing family that continues to grow, and we'll always talk about you and pass on your legacy. I love you so much!

Dear Veldon,

You do not know me, but my parents knew your family. They had a Texaco station in Tivoli during the time you lived there. I was younger than all of you.

As you remember your Mom's life, I hope you recall the love that all of you shared. My thoughts and prayers remain with all of you. May the grace and peace of Christ surround all of you.
