Alma R. Lozano

Our Beloved Alma R. Lozano, 49, passed peacefully into the loving arms of our Savior, surrounded by her devoted loved ones on Monday, August 26, 2013. She was born July 5, 1964 in Valle Hermoso, Mexico to Alberto and Eloisa Portillo, Sr..

Alma is survived by her husband of 27 years, the love of her life, Juan “Ramon” Lozano, Sr.; daughter, Yesenia Lysette Lozano; sons, Juan Ramon Lozano, Jr. and Juan Angel Lozano; her parents, Alberto and Eloisa Portillo, Sr.; sisters, Julia Villegas, Maria Garza, Dora De Leon, Hilda Green; brother, Alberto Portillo, Jr.; grandchildren, Juan Ramon Lozano III and Zaylee Skye Arredondo; her dear friends, Jose and Magdalena Cabrera and John Pozuc. She also leaves behind brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 6-7 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10 AM at Santisima Trinidad Church with Father Alfonso and Father Fito officiating. Entombment will immediately follow at Resurrection Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be John Pozuc, Naul Rodriguez, Rolando Prado, Nico Green, Roel Villegas Jr. and Jésus Cabrera.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the 4th Floor Nursing Staff at Detar Navarro and daughter-in-law, Estella Lozano.
