

He was born in Moline, Illinois on August 3, 1928 to the late Alex and Mary Petros Christos.
He proudly served as a Sergeant in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He retired as a sales manager for Sears Roebuck & Co. and after retirement worked at Colonial Funeral Home.
Andy was a member of A.H.E.P.A. (American Hellenic Education Progressive Association), The American Legion Post #166, Korean War Veterans Association Chapter #223, the Optimist Club, The Victoria Masonic Lodge #40, A.F. & A. M. and a York Rite Mason.
He is survived by his wife Lula Corovinis Christos of Wichita, Kansas; daughter Mary Ann (Mark) Vining of Wichita, Kansas and grandchildren Brad (Kim) Vining and Drew Vining.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Virginia L. Christos and Antoinette "Pat" Kandis.
Services were held at St. Mary Orthodox Church on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10:00 am. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery, Victoria, Texas with Father Dimitri Crozby and Father Stelios Sitaras officiating.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Corpus Christi or All Saints Orthodox Mission, Victoria.
