Angelita Guadalupe Garcia

Angelita Guadalupe Garcia, 90, of Victoria passed away June 12, 2016. She was born October 1, 1925, on the McFadden Ranch in Victoria to the late Encarnacion and Cointa Castillo. She was a housekeeper and custodian for various homes and businesses, and was a Catholic.

She is survived by her children, Mary Lou (Juan) Vasquez, Minnie (Isaac) Solis, Rose Alvarez, Valentine (Linda) Garcia, Sr. Maria F. Garcia, Molly Garcia and Maria Adela Beltran; sisters, Petra Rendon, Minnie Menchaca, Juana Martinez; brothers, Luis Castillo; 33 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; 69 great-great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Aleman Garcia; sons, Julian C. Garcia, Pablo G. Garcia, Manuel C. Garcia; parents; sister, Inocencia Garcia and brother, Julian Castillo.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 beginning at 5:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 9 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Rev. Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tino Tovar, J.C. Garcia, Isaac Solis, Pearl Swartz, Orlando Garcia, Vincent Alvarez, David Michael Vasquez and Juan Manuel Beltran.

Honorary Pallbearers are Izaiah Garcia, The Trinitarian Order, Felipe G. Vasquez and M.C.S.H.
