Marie Annette Brown, 81, of Victoria, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 25, 2018. Annette was born April 5, 1937 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Marie Meyer and J.C. Porter. Annette was a retired school teacher and member of Jr. League of Victoria and First United Methodist Church. Annette loved hosting and entertaining parties, playing the piano for Sunday school and nursing home residents, an avid competitive bridge player, and actress for many local plays. She was a loving mother and an amazing grandmother to her two granddaughters.
Annette is survived by her son, Ky Brown of Victoria; daughter, Tonja Patterson of Victoria and her granddaughters, Lily and Aubrey Patterson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Brown and daughter, Dawn Brown.
A Celebration of Annette’s life will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 10 AM at First United Methodist Church.
