Arlen is survived by his loving spouse of 66 years, Frieda Watson Miller, sons Arlen Milller Jr. (Sherrie) of Portland TX, Darren Miller (Laura) of Victoria, TX; grandchildren Ashleigh Post (Travis ), Matthew Miller (Sebbie), Meagan Metcals (Kurt), Erin Pahmiyer (Ryan), Shannon Barrick, great grandchildren Brooke Post, Landon Post, Hudson Miller, Madison Pahmiyer, Makinzie Pahmiyer, Aubrey Pahmiyer, Addison Hempel, Scarlett Oehlke, Weston Oehlke, 2 pesky sisters in law Patsy Johnston (Woodie) and Janet Elizondo (David), nephew Patrick Johnston (Stefani).

Arlen was a man of many talents. He loved working with wood and making crosses and was in the process of making the 303rd one when he collapsed from a stroke. He also made ice chests and garden benches. He enjoyed his motorcycle and was a member of Goldwing Road Riders Chapter V2 before he had to give up riding. In his “hay days” he loved all sports and umpiring. He was a jokester deluxe and played pranks on as many as possible – loving to see the reactions they brought; thinking the more hysterical and abusive language that came forth from the individual met he had accomplished greatness! He was an avid reader his entire life and had read thousands of books.

Funeral arrangements are by Rosewood Funeral Home, Victoria, TX. There will be a private graveside service at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Hwy 87, Victoria TX . Pallbearers are Arlen Miller Jr., Darren Miller, Patrick Johnston, Woodie Johnston, Matthew Miller and Ryan Pahmiyer.
