She is survived by her daughters, Marilynne Estep of Newark, Ohio, and Vicki Palmer of St. Cloud, Florida; her sons, Dr. James Shook and wife, Ann of Victoria, and Ricky Shook of Jacksonville, Florida; her sisters, Kaye Malone of Anderson, California; and her brother, George Wise of Arizona.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert W. “Red” Dempsey and four brothers.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio.
