Beatrice "Bee" A. Mueller

She was born on Saturday, February 9, 1929 in Mission Valley to the late Marslin and Bertha Ruschaupt Willemin.

Bee was a 1945 graduate of Nazareth Academy and a devout Catholic. Bee met her future husband on July 4, 1945 at a church picnic at Raisin Hall. On April 24, 1948, she married Leslie “LJ” Mueller at Our Lady of Lourdes in Victoria. She and her husband were lifelong members of the Polka and Waltz Club and loved dancing. Bee was a pioneer cattlewoman and member of the Legion of Mary for over 50 years. “Bee’s kitchen” was for decades the regular meeting place for generations of family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Mueller and Stephen Mueller of Victoria; her daughters, Lynette (husband Gary) Buckler and Susan Mueller of Victoria and Darlene (husband Pete) Sprague of Whitehouse; grandchildren, Kimberly (husband Paul) Fleener, Sherri (husband Clint) Kickendahl, Lisa Buckler (fiancé Jason Schneider) of Victoria and Jared Buckler (fiancé Kayla Lindsay) of Houston; great grandchildren, Hayley, Ashley and Kelly Fleener; Carter, Cooper and Cullen Kickendahl; and brother, Marslin (wife Mae Jean) Willemin, Jr. of McFaddin.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Leslie “LJ” Mueller; daughter, Carolyn “Cookie” Wood; and sisters, Agnes Meeler and Bernice Westerman.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 6 to 7 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral with Father Gary Janak officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Fleener, Clint Kickendahl, Jason Schneider, Bill Matthews, Dennis Willemin and Gary Mueller.
