Beau Meyer, age 19 of Victoria passed away on Tuesday December 5th in Victoria, Texas. Beau was born in Butler, Missouri to Erica and Eugene Meyer on May 4th, 2004. He graduated Crossroads Christian Academy in May of 2022. He subsequently graduated from Victoria College in May of 2023 with a Process Technology Certificate. He was hired on at Invista as a process operator, where he also is part of the emergency response team.
Beau had an unparalleled zest for life and adventure. He passed tragically young, but really did live life to the fullest. He was never known to back down from a challenge, had the biggest heart, and truly enriched the lives of everyone he met. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and cousin. He had a protective heart and truly cherished his family. The Meyer family could always depend on him for smiles and a good time. Beau enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting Whataburger merchandise, spending time with family, and he had a passion for skydiving. He made 125 jumps and obtained his class A, and B license. He recently developed an enthusiasm for taking Caribbean Cruises with family and was looking forward to taking as many as he could. His family will forever remember his smile and passion for life and love.
Beau is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Pamela and William White, as well as his maternal great grandparents Dallas and Ruth “Conet” Boudreaux.
Beau is survived by his siblings, James Meyer and wife Heather, Alyssa Del Bosque and husband Gage and their children Elliot (Elli) and Tobias (Tobi), Shawn Meyer and partner Sonny, as well as his parents Erica and Eugene Meyer and paternal grandparents, Eugene Meyer Jr. and Kerry Webb and her husband Russel Webb.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 12-4 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 4 pm, all at Colonial Funeral Home.
