Benjamin R. Monette, 60, of Victoria passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016. He was born July 18, 1955 in Shreveport, Louisiana to David Monette and the late Betty Browne Monette. He worked as a pharmacist at Reuss Pharmacy in Cuero and DeTar Hospital. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Evan Monette; son, Gregory Monette, both of Victoria; sisters, Laura Ewald of Victoria, Betty Monette Murray of Argyle, Texas, and Susan Marshall of San Antonio; his twin brother, Glenn Monette of Corpus Christi.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Monday, January 18, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Allen Ewald, Kevin Ewald, Mason Marshall, Charles Brownel Parris, Curt Mahaffey and Gerald Zengerle.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
