So sorry to hear of Bernie's passing. I've always had a great respect for Bernie especially after he offered me a job at the boat shop. At that time boating and water activities were my favorite things. He was a great boss and I really enjoyed working there until the military called me. I passed by the shop the other day and wondered how he was doing since I had not seen him in years. Anyway I want to express my sympathy to the family.

Shirley,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. You and I met once in the early 1960s, over the telephone by accident - back when phone lines could be crossed. I rode my bike over to you house to met you in person. My Dad owned Prince Machine & Welding at that time. I now live close to Sugar Land.

I don't recall if I ever met you Dad or not, but am sure that my Dad knew him and just wanted to express my condolences to you and your family.

My dear Joyce and family,
How very sad I was to see Bernie’s picture in the obituary column. He was a dear friend of many years...service station, Jaycees, boat dealership. His smile and warm hug always brightened my day.
I regret that I am unable to attend his service as I now live in Hilton Head , SC but know all the Stumfoll’s will be in my prayers and forever in my memory.
RIP Bernie
Affectionately,
Muriel Cullen Argen
