Billie Marie Conrad Mobley

Billie Marie Mobley, age 81, went to meet the Lord peacefully on Sunday, May 6, 2012 after many years of poor health. She was born March 12, 1931 in Llano, Texas to the late Adolph and Pauline (Lackey) Conrad.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed. She worked at Town and Country Gifts for many years as their bookkeeper.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elgie Ronald Mobley, Jr.; brother, Adolph “Judge” Conrad Jr.; and infant daughter, Jetta Kay Mobley.

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Gregory; her children, Elgie Ronald Mobley III, Melanie Marie Hughes (husband Jay W Hughes), Kevin Reid Mobley, and Darren Fendall Mobley (wife Lydia Faye Bianchi) as well as grandchildren, Ronnie Davis, Joshua Mica Mobley (wife Jenelle), Matthew Frederick Mobley (wife Jeneva), Jetta Kay Mobley, Jennifer Leigh Mobley, Darren Fendall Mobley, Jr., Katelyn Marie Mobley, Jessica Shalee Hughes, Jace Weldon Hughes, and Jake Weston Hughes; and great grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Vera, Jason Joe Farias, Kamron Gage Mobley, Ryleigh Anne Hopping, Treytan Quade Galindo, Willow Elise Mobley, Kaleb Mica Mobley, and Kyra Marie Mobley.

Visitation will be held 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Friday, May 11, 2012 at Christ The Victor Lutheran Church with the Pastor Amy Danchik officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Darren Mobley, Jr., Jace W. Hughes, Jake W. Hughes, Adolph Conrad III, Robert Rother, and Nic Herbold. Honorary pallbearers include Ronnie Davis, Joshua Mobley, and Matthew Mobley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or Christ the Victor Lutheran Church.
