

Billy Dale Robertson, 94, formerly of Victoria passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. He was born February 14, 1923 in Clovis, New Mexico to the late James Floyd and Mary Alma Dick Robertson. Bill served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked as an engineer for Conoco building refineries and chemical plants. Gardening and wood working were two hobbies Bill enjoyed. He was devoted to his family and a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School.
Survivors include his daughter, Lucinda Gay Renfro (Gary) of Crosby; sons, Markham Neil Robertson (Melanie) of Ashville, North Carolina, Glenn Earl Robertson (Lori) of Cuero, and Royce Ray Robertson (Lisa) of Katy; brother, Jerry Reynolds (Beverly) of El Paso; grandchildren, Brandon, Michael and Alison Disney, Eric and Keri Robertson, Yixuan Guo, Joel Robertson, Rocky, Holly and Kelli Renfro, Mitchell, Mary Ellen and Micah Robertson; 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Harper Robertson, second wife, Marvel Lou Porter Robertson; son, Kermit Lee Robertson, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
Visitation will be from 6:30 – 8:30 pm Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Graveside services with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council will be at 2 pm Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Bill’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
