

Carole Lockstedt Parker, age 66, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011. She was born December 17, 1944 in Victoria to the late Oscar and Edith Argo Lockstedt. She was a member of Parkway Church. Carole worked at the former R & S Services as a gas measurement integrator for over 20 years. She had also worked at the Port Lavaca Group Home for three years. She was a member of the Victoria Gem and Mineral Society and enjoyed making jewelry, beading, ceramics, and crafting of all kinds.
Carole is survived by her husband, Arthur G. Parker Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Buckert Bertrand of Lafayette, Louisiana; sons, Michael David Buckert and wife Tish of Victoria and Willet G. Parker of Port Lavaca; brothers, Dennis Lockstedt and wife Carmen and Kerry Lockstedt, all of Victoria; and five grandchildren, Misty Stevens, Natalie Knaub, Austin Knaub, Allen Buckert, and Jocelyn Parker.
Visitation will be held 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Zachery Fiew and Charles Parker.
Memorial contributions may be made to an area pet adoption agency or any children’s medical association.
