

Carroll E. “Moe” Moulton, 80, of Mission Valley, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012. He was born September 27, 1931, in York, Maine, to the late Kenneth L. and Gladys E. Welch Moulton. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Carroll was retired as an instrument foreman for CPL after 35 years, and worked for Walmart for 17 years. He was a member of First Christian Church.
Moe was an accomplished master craftsman with a passion for woodworking. The love for his family was the most important thing in his life. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and a very special friend to so many. He will be sorely missed. His favorite remark may be his last, “Glad you got to see me.”
Survivors include his wife, Vivian “Sue” Smith Moulton of Victoria; daughter, Gay Moulton-Pruett and husband, Tim of Goliad; son, Douglas Clay Moulton and wife, Marjorie of Victoria; and Sande Hafer of Edna; sisters, Barbara D. Stevens, Patsy Moulton of York, Maine, Jean Stevens and Joan Kendred, of Wells, Maine, and Gay Anderson of Mt. Vernon, Maine; brothers, Leslie Moulton of Wells, Maine, Elmer A. Moulton and Kenny Moulton, both of York, Maine; grandchildren, Stephen Ray Moulton, Jr., Darren J. Moulton, Jessica Bishop, Jeremiah Rivera and Jeremiah Bokulich; and eight and a half great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Ray Moulton.
Memorial services will be at 2 pm Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Bishop Shilo Monney, Bishop Ross Adamson and Elder Henry Sepulveda officiating. Flag folding ceremony will be provided under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council.
