

Casimir “Kazzie” Bednarek, 60, passed away with his family by his side on September 28, 2020 in Inez, Texas. Casimir was born in Poland on February 8, 1960 to the late Teresa Salabura and Frank Bednarek. He lived most of his life in Connecticut before moving to Texas. Casimir worked for Inteplast Group as a Material Control Supervisor.
Casimir dedicated his life to helping others. Even going through chemotherapy, he would fight through the pain to help any of his friends or strangers. Family was the most important thing to him. It didn’t matter if you were related by blood, sweat or tears. Casimir spread and went by the philosophy, “Patience, Grace and Understanding.”
Casimir is survived by his son, Michael Bednarek (Sarah) and their son, Flynn of North Port, FL; daughter, Cassandra Bednarek (Chris Gnatt) and their children, Cyrah Bednarek, Caiden Smith and Kilian Gnatt of North Port, FL; sisters, Krystyna Sadlowski (Gary) of Kensington, CT, Ann Bednarek of Westbrook, CT, Elizabeth Rogalewski (John) of Newington, CT; brother, Edward Bednarek (Christine) of Colchester, CT; nieces and nephews, Johanna Gagnon (Peter), Vicki DiScipio (Tom), Johnny Rogalewski, Stephanie Sadlowski, Teresa Beebe (Michael) and Samantha Chouinard (Dan).
A celebration of Casimir’s life will be Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 11 am at First Baptist Church of Inez, with Pastor Nick Robertson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “The KB Benefit Account” in Casimir’s name to continue his legacy of helping and caring for others.
