Drew was born to parents Sam and Lisa Rhodes on October 29, 1987, in Wharton, Texas, and raised in Victoria, Texas, alongside a close and loving family. Later in life, Drew and his wife, Andrea, started their journey together in Sugar Land, Texas, pursuing careers and growing their family to include two beautiful daughters, Addison and Caroline.
Anyone who knew Drew knew he was a man of many passions. He had a lifelong love of all things cars, inherited from his best friend and father, Sam. Health and fitness, and especially weight lifting, was at the front of Drew's mind for years, and he excelled at it. His latest passion and obsession was aquaculture, where he would meticulously care and raise exotic fish in his custom, self-made fish room.
But Drew's foremost passion was his sweet girls and wife. Drew was the ever-present, selfless, loving father that all fathers aspire to be. A true example of what a father and husband should strive to be.
Drew embodied the teachings of scripture, capturing the true meaning of selflessness. Ephesians 4:2 "Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love." Drew was humble and gentle, patient and loving, with family or friends or strangers. Leaving a lasting impact on each person he touched.
Drew is survived by his daughters, Addison and Caroline Rhodes, wife Andrea Rhodes, sister Morgan (Rhodes) Goodwin and husband Wade Goodwin, parents Sam and Lisa Rhodes, and grandmother Elizabeth Thompson.
Drew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Neeka Rhodes, and grandfather Tommy Thompson.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, the 27th of September 2025, at Parkway Church, 4802 John Stockbauer Drive, Victoria, TX.
Burial will follow at the Willow Creek Cemetery near Sublime, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks those who wish to donate to contribute to a 529 Education Account set up for Addison and Caroline.
