Christina “Christy” Marie Loya, 45, of Victoria passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014. She was born September 23, 1968, in Vincennes, Indiana, to Sandie Parsons DeLong of Ohio and Don Cunningham of Indiana. She was employed by Valerus Compression as a pipefitter.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her sons, Joshua Loya and Jonathan Loya, both of Victoria and a brother, Rick Cunningham of Indiana. Christy was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Loya, and two brothers, Jason Cunningham and Mike Cunningham.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, February 21, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Faith Family Church, Pastor Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Loya, Joey Loya, Ricky Haro, Mike Burt, T. J. Bryant and Aaron Whitehead.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Williams and Eddie Loya, Jr.
