Cristela Bryand, recently of Bryan and Victoria, Texas, passed away Tuesday October 30, 2018. She was born November 4, 1931 in Ramirez, Texas to the late Abel and Herminia Pena.

She is survived by her husband, Armando Bryand Sr., eight stepchildren, her sister, Baudilia "Lila" Schaefer of Victoria and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Emerardo "Nano" Espinoza, her sister, Epimenia "Eppie" Flores and brothers, Leovardo, Ovidio, Genovevo, and Edelmiro Pena.

Pallbearers will be Abel Alvarez, K.W. Van Zandt, Robert Reyna, Ivan Bryand, Adam Ray Bryand, and Ray Michael Bryand.

Visitation will begin at Noon on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 704 Mallette Drive, Victoria followed by a Rosary at 1:30 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 pm with burial following at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
