Dalton Lee Rogers Sr.

Dalton Lee Rogers, Sr., 78, of Victoria passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Victoria. He was born April 3, 1933 in Sunnyside, Texas to the late Hugh Rogers, Jr. and Iva Fitzhenry Rogers. Mr. Rogers retired after 20 ½ years from the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Mooney Rogers of Victoria; children, Dalton Lee Rogers, Jr. of Houston; Sheryl Lynn Sevier of Victoria, Robert Hugh Rogers of Victoria; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Jurena.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Sevier, Jonathan Rogers, Christopher Rogers, Craig Rogers, Jim Loos, Richard Jacob, Joe Schuler and Louis Bolt.
