Daniel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother whom family meant everything to. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the annual Warzecha family camping trips every summer. Daniel was an operator for Union Carbide and retired after 30 years of service. In retirement he spent his time in the bleachers at ball games, track meets, and band performances supporting his grandsons and their friends.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 55 years, Emily Eberth Warzecha; daughters, Denise Warzecha of Victoria; Danielle Warzecha of Inez; sister Florence Green (Robert) of San Antonio, Jo Ann Griffin of Yorktown; brothers, William Warzecha of Point Comfort, Alfred Warzecha (Joyce) of Inez and the pride and joy of his life, his grandsons, Will and Mason Maraggia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete Warzecha and Bernice Zuber Ummelman and Step father Leroy Ummelman.
Visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Chapels on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 6-7 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on 10 AM, Monday, July 23, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Gabriel Bentil officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Will Maraggia, Mason Maraggia, Mark Berger, Allen Griffin, Blaine Warzecha and Glenn Warzecha.
