David Julian Bueker Sr., 68, of Victoria, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010. He was born February 14, 1942 in New York, NY, the son of Kermit Paul and Lucille Barr Bueker. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a masters degree in chemical engineering. He retired in 2002 from DuPont, where he worked as a chemical engineer for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife Penelope Clark Bueker of Victoria; sons, David Julian Bueker Jr. and wife Karen of Katy and Michael Jeffrey Bueker and wife Aleksandra of Austin; grandchildren David Julian Bueker III and Emma Bueker of Katy; sister Mary Jo Devon of Greenville, SC; brothers, Ricky Bueker of Washington, DC, Paul Bueker of Quito, Ecuador, Dan Bueker of Charlotte, NC and Cris Bueker of Greenville, SC.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Colonial Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made in his memory to the American Leukemia Society.
