Mrs. Delfina G. Garcia Soto

Delfina G. Soto, 80 of Victoria passed away Friday, October 22, 2010. She was born May 5, 1930, in Goliad to the late Fermin Garcia Jr., and Catalina Salazar Garcia. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Delagarza and husband, Gilbert of Victoria; sons, Robert Soto, of Magnolia Beach, Albert R. Soto and wife, Shirley of Corpus Christi, Alfred L. Soto of Victoria, Jerome Soto of Victoria; brothers, Elias Garcia, Reynaldo Garcia and Antonio Garcia, all of Victoria; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Angel Soto, Jr.; brothers,

Rogelio Garcia, Richard Garcia, Robert Garcia, Ruben Garcia and Sam Garcia; one grandson.

A Rosary will be recited Sunday, October 24, 2010, at 7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

The funeral mass will be held Monday, October 25, 2010, at 10 am at St Joseph Catholic Church Parish Hall in Inez with Rev. Gabriel Bentil officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Inez.

Pallbearers will be Erik DelaGarza, Ryan Soto, Jonathan Soto, Judd Soto, Chris Salmon and Joshua Gomez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Valle, Sebastian Soto and Bradley Soto.

Floral Committee members are Shelby Soto, Bianca Soto, Yvonne Salmon and daughters, Alayna and Celeste, Kimberly DelaGarza and Allison Soto.

Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes Foundation.
