

Doris retired from Southwestern Bell after working for 25 years as a phone operator. She was a Baptist. Doris enjoyed spending time outdoors with her flowers and gardening, and also liked to crochet. Her little dogs were very dear to her. For many years, she and her husband, Dude enjoyed their time together with their racehorses.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; including niece, Cheryl Cavasar Moore and husband Lynn and their family of Victoria, and niece, Doris Gordon and her family of North Carolina. She was very special and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. G. “Dude” Cavasar; son, Jerry Dean Cavasar; and brother, Bryan Moss.
Graveside Services will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
