Doris Allene Miller, 88 of Victoria passed away on Saturday June 17, 2023. She was born November 19, 1934 in Hallettsville, TX to Bethel A. and Nellie Rucker Evans. Doris was a member of 1st United Methodist Church. She was devoted to her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Geraldine Sue Stary (Larry) of Victoria; sisters Wanda Sue Opella (Roger), Margie Hardt (late Charles Hardt Sr) both of Hallettsville, Adele Ruth Beard of Austin; grandchildren Wayne Anthony Atkinson (Allison) , Monica Schustereit (Chris), Toby Stary (Denise) and great grandchildren DeLaney Atkinson, Brady Atkinson, Tobyn Stary, Cameron Schustereit, and Caleb Schustereit and numerous loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Otto M. Miller; daughters, Nellie Rae Hall, Carol Allene Miller, grandsons Paul Harold Atkinson and Stewart Clark King, and two brothers Royce W. Evans and Walter A. Evans.

Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2023 from 4-6 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a service at 6 PM. A graveside service will be 10 am on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Salem Cemetery near Ezzell.
