Doris M. Schramek

Doris M. Schramek, 81, of Victoria passed away April 4, 2011. She was born January 7, 1930, in Meyersville,Tx to the late Julius F. and Julia Stark Mueller. She was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as an Operator. Doris was also a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty J. Blanton-Barrera and husband, Jaime E. Barrera of Victoria; son, Marvin R. Schramek of Victoria; sister, Lillian Jank of Edna; grandchildren, Michelle Fuller, Joseph M. Schramek and wife, Diane and Everett Allen Blanton and wife, Julie; and great-grandchildren, Ava Marie Blanton, Travis Austin Hodge, Alex Fuller and Dakota Fuller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe J. Schramek; parents and granddaughter, Lana M. Blake.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011, starting at 7.00 pm with a Prayer Service to follow at 7.30 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, Mr. Don Angerstein officiating. Funeral services will be Friday, April 8, 2011, at 1 p.m. in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dennis Schramek, officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
