Edward R. Rodriguez, 62, of Victoria passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013. He was born on April 7, 1951 to the late Steve Rodriguez, Jr. and Lupe Ruiz Rodriguez. Edward retired from the plumbing business and served his country in the US Air Force.
Survivors include his son, Jose Luis “JR” Rodriguez of Victoria; sisters, Gloria Alvarado of Victoria, Cynthia Gutierrez of Warda; brother, Bill Rodriguez of Jourdanton and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 6-7 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Viewing will begin again at 9AM, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Our Lady of Sorrows with the funeral mass to begin at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council.
