Eunice Louise Mayer, 92 of Victoria passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010. She was born September 30, 1917 in Meyersville, Texas to the late Gustave and Christine Vogt Hasdorff. Mrs. Mayer was a retired worker for the US Government serving as a court reporter in Germany during the Nuremberg Trials.
Survivors include her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Max & Lillian Mayer of Victoria; sister-in-laws, Beverly Hasdorff of Alabama, Rosamond Hasdorff of San Antonio and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mayer was preceded in death by her husband, William Mayer and six brothers.
Visitation will be held from 5-6 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels on Sunday, June 13, 2010 with a rosary to be recited at 6 PM.
Funeral mass will be 9 AM on Monday, June 14, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Celestino Say officiating. Entombment services will be held at 2 PM Monday at Seaside Memorial Park & Mausoleum in Corpus Christi.
