Felicia Jo Moses Norris

Felicia Jo Norris, age 77, died Sunday, May 9th in Houston. Mrs. Norris was born February 2, 1933, in Brenham to Theron Ellis and Sue Smith Floyd Moses. Felicia and her husband, the late Ross Edward Norris, Sr. grew up together in Center where they married in 1953. Along with their two sons, they made their home in Victoria for over fifty years. Felicia was a long-time employee of the Estate of Thomas O’Connor.

Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by her son, Ross Edward Norris, Jr. of Willis, and his children, Cecily Erin Norris of Dallas, Riley Evan Norris of Austin, Conley Everett Norris of Huntsville, and their mother, Cherie Duckett Norris, of Houston, and son, Joseph Kelly Norris and his wife, Kelly, and their son, Braden Kelly Norris of Houston. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Carl Todd VanWay (Suanne) of Victoria, and Mrs. J.W. McCauley (Libby) and her husband of Willis, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, Rev. Mike Shillings officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be J. W. McCauley, Tom Schmidt, Les Tilley, Carlton VanWay, Todd VanWay and Jason Watts.

Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
