

He was born in Coffeyville, Kansas to Charles Richard Epley & Bertha Louise Hubbart Epley on August 4, 1925.
He served in the US Army during WWII and when he was released he met his sister’s friend, Anna Lee Clemons who became his beloved wife for a beautiful 67 years.
He retired from Metropolitan Life. After retirement he enjoyed working for many years at the Homestead in Victoria.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Lee Epley; daughter, Mardene Milligan; sons, Kevin and wife Kimberley Epley, Kenton and wife Debbie Epley, Gregg and wife Cynthia Epley; and his sister Mary Lou Geron. He had 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Ryan Eugene Epley.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Burial with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
