

After a 34 year career as an engineer, Neil retired from Union Carbide. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Victoria and was a former member of First United Methodist in Goliad.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline Browning Posey; sons, Les Posey, Doug Posey (Joye), Ken Posey (Debbie), Darryl Rhodes (Sally); daughter, Donna Frontz; sister, Genelle Goyen (Dan); 10 grandchildren, Amber Rhodes, Erin Posey, Laura Posey, Philip Posey, Robert Neil Posey, Noah Posey, Conner Posey, cody Posey, Colton Frontz and Tyler Rhodes; numerous nieces and nephews; and his loyal four legged companion, Heidi.
The Family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church, Victoria with Rev. Jarrell Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Neil’s grandsons; Philip Posey, Robert Neil Posey, Noah Posey, Conner Posey, Cody Posey, Colton Frontz and Tyler Rhodes.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Victoria High School Classes of ‘58 and ‘59 and members of The Barbershop Choir.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Victoria or First United Methodist Church, Goliad.
