Fred Carl Adix

Fred Carl Adix, 96, of Victoria, passed away June 24, 2017. Fred was born November 27, 1920 in Rush Center, Kansas to Fritz Carl and Norma Strieber Adix. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church.

Fred is survived by his sister, Jean Gohmert of Yorktown; nephews, Larry Gohmert (Nancy) of Yorktown, Mike Nicholson (Lesley) of Houston; great-nephew, Christopher Gohmert (fiancé, Hilary) of Meyersville and great-niece, Kelli Gohmert of San Antonio.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie Rogan Adix and brother, Neil Adix.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 12-1 PM at First English Lutheran Church with a funeral service to follow at 1 PM with Pastor Jim Pearson officiating. A graveside service will be at 3 PM, Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Yorktown, TX.

Pallbearers will be Robert Angerstein, Christopher Gohmert, Chad Hahn, Fred Hahn, Bruce McDonald, and Mike Nicholson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Larry Riedel and Larry Gohmert.

Memorial donations may be made to Upbring (formerly Lutheran Social Services of Texas), Texas Lutheran University or a charity of the donor’s choice.
