Frieda Kloesel Coleman Stubbs passed away peacefully on the 1st of July 2026 in Cypress, at the age of 80, having been born on July 12, 1945, in Alice, TX to Carmel A. Schoener and Bernard Kloesel. She was a Texas girl to her very core.
Frieda had a very successful career with Victoria Bank & Trust and Wells Fargo Bank for 42 years, serving as Senior Vice President where she was named the first female in that position. She was actively involved in the community. Frieda was a longtime parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Altar Society Treasurer, served as a Hospitality Minister of the church and was Victoria Lioness Club President.
Frieda's greatest joy was her family her son Ross A. Coleman and wife Becky, daughter Jennifer Lynn Tudyk and husband James; brothers Bernard J. (Pat) Kloesel, Fred (Shirley) Kloesel, Charles (Barbara) Kloesel; seven grandchildren Tyler Coleman, Tanner Coleman, Ashton Tudyk, Hayden Tudyk, Jonah Tudyk, Reese Tudyk and Ethan Tudyk.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carmel and Bernard Kloesel and husbands Marvin Coleman in 1986, Melvin L. Stubbs in 2011 and sister Carmel Booth.
Friends are cordially invited to join the family in remembering Frieda on Wednesday the 8th of July 2026 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with visitation to begin at 9 AM the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 AM and the Mass of Christian Burial to commence at 10AM. Father Kristopher Fuchs will preside.
The Rite of Committal is to follow, via an escorted cortège to Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Tudyk II, Ashton Tudyk, Hayden Tudyk, Tyler Coleman, Tanner Coleman and Freddie Kloesel
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests memorial contributions in Frieda’s honor be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or the Texas Lions Camp.
