Gene H. Kyker

Gene Henry Kyker, 76, of Victoria, TX passed away on July 31, 2015. Gene was born in Dixon, IL in 1938 to Peter Winford Kyker and Lillian Rose Kyker. He graduated from Polo High School in 1956. He was a truck driver and was employed by Dunn’s Services Inc. He married Sharon Meyer in 1986. Gene was employed by Lindquist Construction, Harvey Lawson Masonry, Bill’s Excavating, and several other trucking companies, most recently Dunn’s Service Inc. in Meyersville, TX. He was an avid reader and could fix or discuss just about anything, except he hated plumbing!

He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers: Harold, Robert, Ward, and Harry; his granddaughter, Adrienne Prince, and his step grandson, Justus Bartelt. He is survived by his wife, Sharon ( Meyer) Kyker, of Victoria, TX, children Wynell(Brad Eakle) Susan(Todd Ogan, Kendall(Jeannie) Kyker, and John Kyker; step-children Patrick Leisner, Tamara(Gary Krug) Heidi Fansler, and Heather Rodriguez, 7 grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren, and 15 step great grandchildren.

Gene’s requested not to have services of any type. In memory of Gene, donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
