Geraldine "Gerry" Davis Waitschies

Gerry was a loving mother, homemaker and caregiver to her family for her entire life. She was a faithful and active member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Victoria, Texas most of her adult life. She loved her church, her church family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis Waitschies of Sugar Land, Texas and Lloyd Waitschies of Charleston, South Carolina; daughter, Devona Usery-Smith of Kingwood, Texas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton R. Waitschies, her parents, her sister Helen Davis Parker and her brother, Melvin Cecil Davis. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Friday, April 29, 2016 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Waak officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 4102 N. Ben Jordan, Victoria, Texas, 77901.
