Gladys Holy

Gladys Sandhop Kocian Holy, 87, of Victoria passed away September 6, 2014. She was born September 7, 1926 in Victoria to the late Henry and Lucille Stubbs Sandhop. She worked many years at the First Victoria National Bank. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active in the Trinity Lutheran Ruth Circle, Lady Auxiliary and China Painting Club.

She is survived by her sons, Vic Kocian, Jr. of Victoria and Joe Kocian and wife,Debbie of Victoria; sisters, Ethel Beck and Jeanette Scherer of Victoria and Linda Shelton of Houston; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor Kocian, Sr. and second husband, Edwin Holy, her mom, Agnes Sandhop and sister, Mary Lou Moore.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM At Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 2 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church with Don Angerstein officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott and Sterling Kocian, Zack and Stephen Vela, Calvin Scherer and Dr. John Beck.
